1. In May 2022, the Department of Advertising and Strategic Marketing successfully organized the “2022 MCU Advertising and Strategic Marketing Camp”. Faculty and senior students of Department of Advertising and Strategic Marketing led high school students to see how advertisements are produced, with the hope that these high school students can blend into the MCU big family at this early stage and begin planning their personal future career paths.
2. In May 2022, students of Department of Advertising and Strategic Marketing won the following awards in the 2022 MCU Innovative Video Awards: Cai, Bing-Xiu, Pan Xin-Ru, Takahashi Hinata, and Chen Li-Xing won first prize with "Youth Belongs to You", setting a record for the Department of winning first prize in this competition for two consecutive years. In addition, Zheng, Ming-Yuan, Zhou, Hao-Xian, Wu, Yu-Ting, Ou, Jia-Ling, Shi, Chong-Shao, Wang, Yuan-Hong, Lan, Hao-Rong won third prize for "Opening My Ming Chuan Game Life"

3. The 30th Times Young Creative Awards Conferral Ceremony was held on December 6, 2021 at the Le Méridien Hotel. The awards attracted submission of nearly 80000 works and students of Department of Advertising and Strategic Marketing received outstanding results by winning one Silver Award, one 2nd place award, one 3rd place award and one outstanding winner. The team of five students comprising Huang, Yi-Chieh, Su, Zi-Xuan, Chuang, Yen-Ting, Chen, Hao, and Zheng, Ming-Yuan, produced “Remembering One Perfect Day” and won the Silver Award and the 2nd place award. Another team of five students comprising Shiau, Yu-Wei, Zhong, Cheng-Ze, Cheng, Hui-Hsin, Lin, Pin-Yu, and Zheng, Yi-Chih won the 3rd place award for their production: “Start with one perfect cup, let's pour!”. In addition, a team of seven students comprising Zhang, Si-Yun, Hsieh, Pei-Lun, Liu, Chih-Ling, Wang, Tsan-Yuan, He, Xin-Yu, Chang, Tzu-Tung, and Kao, Yu-Wen won outstanding recognition for their work “Feel the Warmth, Taste the Emotions.”
4. Department of Advertising and Strategic Marketing participated in the 65th University Anniversary Webpage Designing Contest and was awarded 5th place among academic units.
